The Lancaster Fiber Festival will begin on August 16, 2018.
We have just received information from one of our quilting teachers, Carol C. Porter. Carol is a long time quilter, knitter and sewist. She most recently served as Education Director for Clover Needlecraft Inc., a Japanese company, that produces precision tools for sewing and knitting.
Carol is the author of several books including: Making Jewelry with a French Knitter, Beautiful Bead Weaving and Seaside Quilts (with Rebecca Hanson) You might also recognize her from her youtube videos in which she demonstrates tools and techniques for Clover.
Classes offered by Carol will include: Yo Yo’s for All Seasons (#301), Wool on Wool Appliqué Centerpiece (#302), and Blue Plate Special Wall Quilt (#303). We will host several books signings, for Carol, in our Event Store.
We are very happy to have Carol join us at the Lancaster Fiber Fest and know that you will learn excellent techniques and gain new skills from this caring, experienced and wonderful teacher!
